【전북교육신문】국립문화유산연구원 국립완주문화유산연구소(소장 이규훈)는 2022~2025년 전북지역 역사문화의 실체와 문화유산 가치를 조명하기 위해 「완주 상운리 원상운 고분군」, 「고창 죽림리 지석묘군」, 「부안 유천리·진서리 요지」에서 실시한 시·발굴조사 결과를 정리한 보고서 3종을 발간하였다.
『완주 상운리 원상운 고분군 1~3차 발굴조사 보고서』는 2022년부터 2024년까지 실시된 완주 상운리 원상운 고분군 발굴조사 성과와 관련 학술연구 성과를 종합하여 수록한 것이다.
만경강 상류의 마한 문화 핵심지역인 완주 상운리 유적의 성격을 규명하기 위해 실시한 조사 결과, 총 9기의 분구묘가 조사되었으며, 목관묘와 옹관묘 등 다양한 형태의 매장시설이 사용된 것으로 확인되었다. 아울러 원상운 고분군의 축조 시기와 유적의 입지환경을 검토할 수 있는 자연과학적 분석 결과(방사성탄소연대측정, 고지형 분석 등)도 함께 수록하여 전북지역 마한 사회의 묘제와 물질문화 양상을 이해하는 데 중요한 단서를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
『고창 죽림리 지석묘군(Ⅱ지구 6군) 발굴조사 보고서』에는 2000년 강화 고인돌 유적, 화순 고인돌 유적과 함께 세계유산에 등재된 청동기시대 대표적인 지석묘 유적 「고창 죽림리 지석묘군」의 미정비 구간 내 지석묘군의 분포 현황과 관련 시설을 파악하기 위해 실시한 조사 결과를 수록하였다.
조사 결과 고려시대 건물지군이 확인되어 해당 지역이 선사시대뿐만 아니라 이후 시기까지 지속적으로 점유·활용되었음을 보여준다. 이러한 조사 성과는 고창 죽림리 지석묘군 일대의 장기적인 토지 이용과 역사적 변천 과정을 밝히는 중요한 자료이며, 유적 미정비 구간의 체계적인 보존·관리를 위한 정비 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
『부안 고려청자요지 시굴조사 보고서』에는 부안 유천리·진서리 요지 유적 일대의 청자가마와 관련 생산시설의 분포 현황 파악을 위해 2023~2024년 실시한 시굴조사 결과와 관련 학술연구 성과를 종합하여 수록하였다. 조사 결과 청자가마 5기와 폐기장 14기, 공방지 1기 등 청자 생산과 관련 유구가 확인되었다.
이번 보고서는 고려청자 생산의 핵심지역인 부안 일대 청자 생산 체계와 유통 구조를 규명하는 데 중요한 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
이번에 발간된 보고서 3종은 지역 주요 문화유산의 학술적 가치를 재조명하고, 향후 유적 보존·관리 방향 설정을 위한 기초자료로 활용되는 한편, 지역 문화유산 가치에 대한 지역사회 인식 확산에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
책자 3종은 국공립 도서관과 관련 연구기관 등에 배포되며 국립문화유산연구원 누리집(https://www.nrich.go.kr)에서도 누구나 열람할 수 있다.

The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, National Wanju Cultural Heritage Research Institute (Director Lee Gyu-hoon), has published three reports on the results of surveys and excavations conducted at "Wanju Sangun-ri Wonsangun Tumuli Group," "Gochang Jukrim-ri Jiseokmyo Group," and "Buan Yucheon-ri, Jinseori Ceramic Site" from 2022 to 2025 to shed light on the essence and cultural heritage value of historical culture in the Jeollabuk-do region.
The "Wanju Sangun-ri Wonsangun Tumuli Group 1-3 Excavation Report" compiles the results of the excavations conducted from 2022 to 2024 at the Wanju Sangun-ri Wonsangun Tumuli Group, along with related academic research outcomes. The survey aimed to clarify the nature of the Wanju Sangun-ri archaeological site, a core area of the Mahan culture in the upper reaches of the Man-gyeong River. The results revealed a total of 9 pit tombs, indicating the use of various burial facilities such as wooden coffins and stone coffins. Additionally, scientific analysis results (radiocarbon dating, topographical analysis, etc.) included in the report are expected to provide important clues for understanding the burial customs and material culture of the Mahan society in Jeollabuk-do.
The "Gochang Jukrim-ri Jiseokmyo Group (Zone II 6 Clusters) Excavation Report" includes the results of a survey conducted to identify the distribution and related facilities of the Jiseokmyo group within the unverified section of the Gochang Jukrim-ri Jiseokmyo Group, a representative stone tomb site of the Bronze Age listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The discovery of Goryeo Dynasty building sites indicates continuous occupation and utilization of the area from the prehistoric era to later periods. These findings are considered crucial data for elucidating the long-term land use and historical changes in the Gochang Jukrim-ri area, and are expected to be utilized as foundational data for systematic preservation and management of the unverified sections of the site.
The "Buan Goryeo Ceramic Site Excavation Report" compiles the results of a survey conducted in 2023-2024 to identify the distribution of ceramic kilns and related production facilities at the Buan Yucheon-ri, Jinseori site. The survey confirmed the presence of 5 ceramic kilns, 14 waste disposal sites, and 1 workshop site related to ceramic production.
These three reports, recently published, aim to reevaluate the academic value of key local cultural heritage sites, provide foundational data for setting directions for future preservation and management of archaeological sites, and contribute to raising awareness of the value of regional cultural heritage in local communities.
