【전북교육신문】전주세계소리축제(조직위원장 최철, 이하 소리축제)가 6월 10일부터 7월 1일까지 매주 수요일 오후 7시 전주 연화정도서관에서 개최하는 <월드뮤직 렉처콘서트> 참가자를 모집한다.
<월드뮤직 렉처콘서트>는 소리축제의 양대 축인 ‘판소리’와 ‘월드뮤직’을 보다 깊이 있게 조명하기 위해 기획된 프로그램이다. 축제 개최에 앞서 시민들이 음악의 역사와 문화적 맥락을 쉽고 흥미롭게 이해할 수 있도록 구성한 사전 붐업(Boom-up) 프로그램이며 세계 음악을 매개로 소리축제만의 정체성과 전문성을 미리 경험할 수 있는 자리로 마련된다.
이번 프로그램은 단순한 음악 감상을 넘어 장르별 전문가의 해설과 시청각 자료 감상이 함께 이루어지는 ‘시청각 해설 중심 렉처콘서트’ 형식으로 진행된다. 음악과 영상, 아카이브 자료를 활용해 장르의 흐름과 시대적 배경, 예술가의 이야기를 입체적으로 전달할 계획이다. 특히 올해는 소리축제 25주년 기념 특별기획으로 마련되어 판소리와 세계 각국의 월드뮤직을 교차 편성함으로써 장르의 경계를 허물고 소리축제만의 음악적 방향성과 확장성을 집중적으로 조명한다.
프로그램은 오는 6월 10일부터 7월 1일까지 매주 수요일 오후 7시, 전주 연화정도서관에서 총 4회에 걸쳐 진행되며 참가비는 무료다. 신청 및 사전 예약은 선착순으로 진행되며 29일 오후 1시부터 소리축제 공식 홈페이지를 통해 일괄 오픈된다.

마지막 시간인 7월 1일에는 황윤기 월드뮤직 평론가가 저서 <포르투갈의 노래 파두>를 중심으로 포르투갈 대표 성악 장르인 ‘파두(Fado)’를 소개한다. 파두의 역사와 정서, 대표 음악들을 통해 포르투갈 음악 특유의 감성을 관객들에게 선보일 예정이다.

Jeonju World Sound Festival, Recruiting Participants for <World Music Lecture Concert>

Particularly this year, as a special program commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Sound Festival, Pansori and world music from various countries will be cross-programmed, breaking the boundaries of genres and focusing intensively on the musical direction and expansiveness unique to the Sound Festival.
