【전북교육신문】전북특별자치도군산교육지원청 소속 군산발명교육센터·미래창작공방은 여름방학을 맞아 초등학생과 가족을 대상으로 ‘2026 여름방학 발명·메이커·가족 프로그램’을 운영한다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 인공지능 시대에 필요한 창의융합 인재를 육성하고, 방학 중 학생들에게 다양한 발명·메이커 체험 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
프로그램은 오는 27일부터 8월 8일까지 군산융복합미래교육센터 발명교육실에서 진행된다. 초등학교 4~6학년을 대상으로 한 발명 정규프로그램은 평일 오전에, 메이커 특별프로그램은 평일 오후에 운영된다.
또한 8월 1일과 8일에는 가족이 함께 참여하는 주말 가족 프로그램이 마련된다. 프로그램은 ‘글라스 아트’와 ‘향수 만들기’ 등 가족이 함께 체험할 수 있는 내용으로 구성됐다.
모든 과정은 무료로 운영되며, 발명 정규프로그램과 메이커 특별프로그램 수료 학생에게는 학교생활기록부 과목별 세부능력 및 특기사항 등재 기회도 주어진다.
참가 신청은 오는 13일부터 15일까지 군산융복합미래교육센터 누리집을 통해 선착순으로 진행된다. 선정 결과는 7월 16일 개별 문자와 누리집 공지사항을 통해 안내된다.
이성기 교육장은 “학생들이 일상 속 아이디어를 구체화하며 문제 해결력과 창의적 사고력을 키우길 바란다”며 “군산 학생들이 미래 사회를 이끌 창의융합형 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 체험 중심 발명교육을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

All sessions will be conducted free of charge, and students who complete the regular invention program and the special maker program will also have the opportunity to have their detailed abilities and specialties recorded in their school records.
Applications for participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Gunsan Complex Future Education Center website from July 13 to 15. The selection results will be notified individually via text message and through the website notice on July 16.
Education Superintendent Lee Sung-gi stated, "I hope that students will solidify their daily ideas, enhance problem-solving skills, and foster creative thinking," adding, "We will actively support experiential-based invention education to help Gunsan students grow into creative and integrated talents leading the future society."
