They will also learn about the diversity of forest trees, the ecology of various underground creatures such as moles, earthworms, and ants, and the importance of nature through sensory experiences like finding animals and playing with moles. Through activities like environmental fishing, they will learn about the causes of global warming and the importance of environmental protection, gradually understanding that small daily practices are the first step in protecting the earth.
The city has completed safety inspections of the children's forest experience centers' facilities to operate programs safely even in the heatwave, and plans to continue monitoring the facilities regularly to create a safe and pleasant environment for users.
Additionally, for adults such as the middle-aged and elderly, the city will provide a rich summer garden program at the Jeonju Garden Culture Center.
