【전북교육신문】전북교육청은 31일 본청 2층 강당에서 한글 지도에 관심 있는 초등교원 130여 명을 대상으로 ‘2026 한글책임교육 심화 연수’를 운영했다.
이번 연수는 ‘원리로 살펴보는 한글책임교육’을 주제로 진행됐다. 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정의 ‘개별성·다양성 존중’ 방향을 반영해 교사의 한글 지도 역량을 높이고, 학생의 한글 해득 수준에 따른 맞춤형 학습을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
연수에는 초등 1~2학년 담임교사, 한글 미해득 학생이 포함된 학급 교사, 학습지원담당교원, 한글 지도 전문성 향상을 희망하는 교사 등이 참여했다. 과정은 진단과 지원을 연계해 실제 수업에 적용할 수 있도록 실습 중심으로 구성됐다.
오전 연수는 이해영 전주신동초 수석교사가 맡아 ‘질문으로 학생의 사고를 깨우는 한글 해득 수업’을 주제로 진행했다. 이 교사는 읽기와 쓰기에 어려움을 겪는 학생에게 자모 지식뿐 아니라 체계적인 음운 처리 지도가 필요하다고 강조했다.
오후에는 김슬옹 세종국어문화원 원장이 ‘흉내말과 판타지 동화로 배우는 한글교육’을 주제로 강의했다. 김 원장은 『훈민정음』 해례본의 창제 정신과 제자 원리를 학교 현장에 적용하는 방안을 설명했다.
연수 참여 교사들에게는 교재 「흉내말로 배우는 한글 ㄱㅋㄲ」이 제공됐다. 이 교재는 한글을 익히기 시작하는 학생들이 다양한 흉내말이 포함된 동화를 읽으며 한글을 배울 수 있도록 구성됐다.
연수에 참여한 한 1학년 담임교사는 “이번 연수에서 배운 방법을 우리 반 아이들과 바로 적용해 보고 싶다”고 말했다.

In the afternoon, Kim Seul-ong, the director of the Sejong Korean Culture Institute, delivered a lecture on 'Learning Korean education through mimicry and fantasy fairy tales.' Kim explained ways to apply the spirit of creating the Korean script 'Hunminjeongeum' and the principle of discipleship to school settings.
The participating teachers were provided with the textbook 'Learning Korean with Mimicry Sounds ㄱㅋㄲ.' This textbook is designed for students starting to learn Korean to learn the language through various mimicry sounds included in fairy tales.
A 1st-grade homeroom teacher who participated in the training said, "I want to apply the methods I learned in this training directly to my students in the classroom."
