【전북교육신문】행정안전부의 햇빛소득마을 1차 공모에서 도내 8개 시군 17개 마을이 사업 대상지로 선정됐다.
3일 전북도는 이같이 밝히며 이번 성과를 바탕으로 주민 참여형 재생에너지 사업을 확대해 2030년까지 햇빛소득마을 500개소를 조성하겠다고 강조했다.
햇빛소득마을은 마을공동체가 유휴부지 등에 태양광 발전시설을 설치하고, 전력 판매 수익을 주민 복지와 마을공동사업에 활용하는 주민주도형 재생에너지 사업이다. 주민이 에너지 생산의 주체가 돼 지역 소득을 창출하고 마을의 지속가능성을 높이는 것이다.
이번 1차 공모에는 도내 10개 시군 24개 마을이 신청했으며, 조합 구성과 사업부지 확보, 자금조달 계획, 전력계통 연계 가능성 등을 종합 평가한 결과 17개 마을이 최종 선정됐다.
선정된 17개 마을 가운데 완주 어두·왜목마을은 즉시 사업을 추진하며, 나머지 16개 마을은 부지 확보와 전력계통 보완 등 조건을 충족한 뒤 사업을 추진하게 된다. 조건부 선정 마을은 6개월 이내 보완사항을 완료하면 본격적인 인허가 절차에 착수할 예정이다.
도는 특히 전력계통 부족으로 사업 추진에 어려움을 겪는 마을을 대상으로 배전망 에너지저장장치(ESS) 설치가 조기에 이뤄질 수 있도록 관계기관과 협의를 강화하는 등 후속 지원에 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.
햇빛소득마을에 대한 시군과 농촌마을의 관심도 높아지고 있다. 2차 공모에는 12개 시군에서 74개 마을이 신청하였으며, 평가 결과는 오는 9월 말 발표될 예정이다.
도는 앞으로도 시군과 유관기관과 협력해 마을공동체 구성부터 사업부지 발굴, 전력계통 연계 검토, 사업계획 수립까지 단계별 지원을 이어가며 햇빛소득마을 조성을 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
