【전북교육신문】전주시는 14일 서천초등학교 강당에서 1~6학년 재학생 256명을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 마음온 인문융합콘서트’를 개최했다.
아트컴퍼니 두루가 약 80분 동안 진행한 이번 콘서트는 ‘나도 스타가 될 거야’라는 주제로 K-POP 뮤지컬을 통해 자신의 꿈과 삶의 선택에 대해 생각해 볼 수 있는 참여형 인문학 공연으로 기획됐다.
공연은 꿈과 희망, 선택, 책임, 성장, 자아정체성, 공감 등 어린이의 성장 과정에서 중요한 일곱 가지 핵심 인문학 개념을 다룬 것이 특징이다.
전주시는 이 콘서트를 통해 K-POP의 음악적 요소와 퍼포먼스, 영상 등 어린이들에게 친숙한 콘텐츠를 활용해 인문학적 주제를 쉽고 흥미롭게 전달했다.
이를 위해 공연은 어린이들이 좋아하는 음악과 움직임을 통해 감정을 자연스럽게 표현하고, 공연 속 이야기를 자신의 삶과 연결해 생각할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
이를 통해 참여 학생들은 단순히 공연을 관람하는 데 그치지 않고, 음악과 노래, 춤, 이야기 속 인물의 선택을 함께 따라가며 ‘나는 무엇을 원하는가’, ‘나는 어떤 선택을 할 것인가’, ‘나는 어떤 사람으로 성장하고 싶은가’를 스스로 생각해 보는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
이와 관련 시는 청소년들에게 인문학적 통찰을 제공하고 진로 탐색의 폭을 넓히기 위해 전주지역 초·중·고등학교를 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 마음온 인문 융합 콘서트’를 지속 운영하고 있다. 올해는 현재까지 8개 초·중·고등학교, 1289명을 대상으로 공연이 이뤄졌다.
전주시 관계자는 “이번 공연을 통해 단순히 재미를 느끼는 것을 넘어, 이야기 속 인물들의 선택을 자신의 삶과 연결해 보며 자신의 꿈을 발견하고, 작은 선택 하나하나가 자신의 미래를 만들어 간다는 사실을 생각해보는 의미 있는 시간이 됐길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청소년들이 자기 삶을 주체적으로 설계할 수 있도록 다양한 분야의 공연을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
Bringing Dreams and Hope to Future Generations through Humanities Convergence Concert
On the 14th, Jeonju City held the 'Engaging Humanities Integration Concert' for 256 students from grades 1 to 6 at Seocheon Elementary School's auditorium.
