전북특별자치도립미술관(관장 이애선)이 전북미술사 구축을 위해 11일부터 4월 1일까지 소장작품을 공개 구입한다.
이번 공개 구입은 미술관 소장품의 연구 기능을 더욱 강화하고 삭감된 예산 여건 속에서 전북미술사의 정체성을 체계적으로 구축하기 위해 예년보다 수집 범위를 구체화하여 추진한다.
구입 대상은 전북 작가의 조선미술전람회(1922~1944) 서양화부 수상 작품 및 해당 작가의 작품, 전북 작가의 대한민국미술전람회(1949~1981) 수상 작품, 그리고 온다라미술관(1987~1992) 전시 출품 작품이다.
조선미술전람회와 대한민국미술전람회 수상 작품에는 입선작을 포함하며, 2025년에 구입한 온다라미술관 전시 출품 작가의 작품은 제외한다. 신청 가능한 작품 수는 개인 또는 기관·단체별로 2점까지다. 또한 향후 조선미술전람회 서양화부뿐만 아니라 동양화, 공예 등으로 수집 범위를 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
접수는 11일부터 4월 1일까지 3주간 우편으로만 가능하며, 신청 마감일 등기우편 소인분에 한해 유효하다. 접수된 작품은 작품추천위원회와 작품수집심의위원회 두 차례의 전문가 심의를 거쳐 구입 대상 작품 및 가격을 선정할 예정이다. 자세한 사항은 전북도립미술관 홈페이지(jma.go.kr)에서 확인할 수 있다.
도립미술관 관계자는 “소장품은 미술관의 수집 정책과 정체성을 반영하는 중요한 자산인 만큼, 공개 구입을 통해 절차의 공정성과 투명성을 확보하고 미술사적 가치가 높은 전북 미술 작품을 수집할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Art Museum (Director Lee Ae-sun) will publicly purchase collection works from March 11 to April 1 for the establishment of Jeonbuk art history.

Applications can be submitted by mail only from March 11 to April 1 for a period of three weeks, and submissions will be valid only if postmarked by the application deadline. The submitted works will undergo two expert evaluations by the Artwork Recommendation Committee and the Artwork Collection Review Committee to select the works to be acquired and their prices.
